Preface

I

am weary of the world and all its ways.

Tomorrow is a better day.

Yesterday is dead.

Every last blade of grass is precious.

War is anathema.

Faith is paramount.

Love conquers all.

Magic is everywhere.

Beauty is transcendent.

The soul is indestructible.

Tomorrow can be better than yesterday.

Rest easy.

I hope that you find this book of value, or at least of interest. You DON’T have to start at the beginning and wade through it to the end. There are things written of in here that matter to me that may not matter to you. This book is like a pond: You can jump in anywhere. Some parts of the pond are deeper than others. For me this book has been a voyage of exploration as I have sought a better understanding of some of those things that I think matter to me – and you. And by the way, you are obviously not expected to agree with all I have written here, though of course you may do. This is my struggle, my voyage of discovery. We each have our own. You may not want to mind dump yours the way I have done mine in some degree here. But hopefully you will recognise a fellow traveller and be tolerant if our perspectives vary. The view is the same; we just all look at it and interpret it differently.
